SBI Credit Card application was submitted without consent

I applied for SBI Prime card online for my mother 3months back & it was rejected for some reasons. However, today I received a message for successful application for the same card.

Note, here I have not provided any consent nor did I opened sbi application after the rejection. I have been using cc's for a very long time & I came across this instance for the very first time where a card application was processed without any consent

Contact SBI customer care they will raise a complaint on it and u wil get reverted in 4 working days they wil investigate it and give you a call back they will check for call recordings from sbi to you if not authorised by you application will be withdrawn
 
Thanks I did raise a complaint but I applied online and the only word that I did with customer care was regarding a document followup. I don't know how this happened pretty sketchy tbh. Will wait for the input from sbi team
 
They did 2 - 3 times to me... Applied without my permission, also one agent declined previous application saying that have to do rekyc but he created new application and 2 CIBIL enquiry..

I actually purchased the transunion subscription just to check if there is any new enquiry on my cibil report, luckily there is none. Also, update on the card. It got rejected due to incomplete documentation
 
Some SBI card agent did that to me as well. And used a complete bogus address in Delhi (where I have never stayed in my life) in the application which got added to my cibil profile along with the enquiry. Thankfully no card was issued. Haven't been able to remove either by emailing SBI till date (happened in 2019).

Bank of Baroda went one step further!
I used to have a joint home loan from them. They asked my consent for credit card and I said no.
But one person in the branch who was wanted to get some commision made application on behalf of my mom, dad and wife using the PAN card details with them from my home loan but gave bogus email and phone numbers in the application. I gave no consent for any credit card.
One fine day I got 3 letter with cards enclosed. That's when I found out about the wrong numbers and email ids they used.
Raised to branch manager, the bank customer complaint and then to Banking Ombudsman. Nothing happened! The issue was closed by simply stating the card is now closed as per customer's request. Completely ignoring that they were issued without my knowledge, consent and using bogus details. Serious breach of trust and customer confidential details.

All the addresses i have in my Cibil report are not mine never lived there. Maybe never visited those places. Even my father's name was incorrect in my Cibil report these credit card and loan agents can do anything 😔

Yep we have Poor data protection laws so this people gets away easily. Even after multiple complains they know banks not gonna take action unless its HNI acc. they messed up with
 
Mf's. I just received an update for application for SBI BPCL card. I had no idea no consent provided. Called support all I hear is we noted your request & will look into this. How do I report/stop this? @TechnoFino
