SBI Debit Card – Reward Points Not Credited

Hi Everyone,


I’ve been facing an issue with SBI debit card reward points and wanted to check if anyone here has experienced something similar.


I made a Myntra purchase using my SBI debit card in December 2024 amounting >7000 Rs, along with few other online transactions including bill payments since then, but no reward points have been credited for any of them. I created my SBI Rewardz account in August 2025, and it still only shows 200 points — which are just for downloading the YONO app and the SBI Rewardz app.


I’ve emailed SBI customer care multiple times related to no reward points for myntra transaction, but every time they say they’ll “look into it in 15–20 days.” It’s already been over two months, and there’s still no resolution. I’ve also registered a complaint with the RBI Ombudsman on 22nd September, and I’m currently waiting for their response.

It seems like none of my physical or virtual debit card is generating any reward points.


Has anyone else faced this issue or found a solution? Any help or guidance would be appreciated.

Can you share the link for this? The FAQ section on the website still says 7 days.

It's clearly written in "overview" tab on the sbi rewardz website. Have a look, you will find it.

One doubt. The milestone bonus of 1000 points for spends over 1lakh is once per month or if I spend 2 lakh I'll get bonus of 2000 points?

Only once per month. Btw, they haven't released milestone after June. So, not sure if they are still giving it or not. They are keep extending the date.

Current ETA is October end, which is like 5 days only from today, but no signs of milestone.

For updated REWARD POINTS check with YONO SBI app
My RP as per SBI Rewardz in app and website is 2500
As per YONO it is 4000

Check transaction history in rewardz app. It doesn't show in total but shows as individual transaction in transaction history > earned.

Transaction showing for October 1st must be for September. So, there should be another milestone benefit for October.

I think for any month milestone credit happened on 1st of that month.

It should be of October.

September milestone got credited on 1st September. They credit milestone with back-date now. I had previously explained it in a brief post in the main thread.

Seems like your debit card is not activated on rewardz portal. New DC registration usually takes 90-120 days for showing points.

Keep doing your transactions, you will eventually receive points. Your DC is not activated, that's the reason you haven't got points yet.

My existing SBI Debit card is going to expire this month. If I activate my new debit card, am I going to loose the points for the transactions I do till 90-120 days or will they be back-credited nonetheless?

No, you won't lose them. It will just take time till backend activates your DC. All the points will be credited with back-date. Patience is key here.

Just for reference, my new DC (pragati) took 4.5 months then only I could see my points.

I had written every transaction points, so it was very easy to tally things.
