SBI Debit Card Reward Point - Changes w.e.f. 1st May, 2024:

There have been several changes in SBI debit card reward point, full details can be found here : https://rewardz.sbi/content/overview -> Debit Card

Some of the changes observed are :

- 1,000 reward points capping per transaction (earlier it was 100 reward points)
- 10,000 reward points capping per calendar month (earlier it was 1,000 reward points)
- 200 birthday bonus reward points capping removed (not sure but it can't be seen anymore)
- all transactions will accumulate reward points except for account to wallet and account to account transactions

Excluding account to wallet and account to account transactions may mean no more accumulating reward points on CC bill payment via MobiKwik.

For Virtual card-

For physical card-
Sounds like devaluation rather than revaluation cos we use sbi dc for wallet loading to get rps

From what I understood from website details of sbi rewardz

For virtual sbi debit card - 1000 rp for Rs 50,000 spent. Overall 10,000 rp for Rs 5 lac spend in a month.

For physical debit card spends should be double and rp would remain same.

Ye sbi dc khud confuse hai kya . Amazon qnd mobi load par cb nahi diya did on 1 to 5 may.. mrans waller mcc exclude.. now cc payment ka mcc kya hai mobi par and utility par to dega hi anyway.. all rwd points associated with mcc not which merchant we do..dbi dc case they didn't mention abt any mcc.. just noob language in all terms.. keep guessing and hit and miss..

Keep updating headline of topic where it gave qnd where didn't..and how much.. as virtual qnd physical have different table

My friend used virtual debit card for 35000 and 20000 on Paytm for cc bill payment on 1st and 3rd May 2024, but he got rp as normal card only i.e. 1 point per 100 rupees spent.
Double reward ni aa rha hai.
