WTF does this mean? It has IRCTC ipay which naturally should give reward points but in note section it says accural allowed only if payment made through applicable multiple payment options? There's only ICICI there.

Any experience here? Kindly help, it's urgent. Thanks.

It means you will get loyalty points only if you use irctc co branded card.

I did some research & found out that I'll only get reward if I select multiple payment options & choose an "applicable" gateway, which is HDFC & Citi pg, but there's only ICICI option is available. Someone in the community mentioned that ICICI pg also give reward so made payment using that.

How are they better than using sbi cb card to buy amazon pay gv to be used in amazon app for irctc train booking - since we get flat 5% CB there
If we take hdfc irctc we get 5% cb as loyalty points right?

There are stupid charges on Amazon, HDFC has redemption fees. IRCTC gives upto 10%, better for those who travels in those seasons. Works during sales too. Annual fees is ₹90 only.
