I am using SBI platinum VISA debit card.

I want to change it into rupay varient.? Does any one know is it Rupay Select.?

No one in the customer care or bank officials are unaware about it. This information is not available in youtube or other forums. We will be first one who discuss about it. Please join in
1. What is the rupay varient of SBI platinum? Is it Rupay SELECT or Platinum ?

2. How I can change from VISA to Rupay ?


3. Can I use VISA and Rupay both together.?

Permanently block ur visa card and visit a branch fill the form mention the code: "RPJ" - Tell them this code and ask for the rupay plat jcb debit card

3. Can I use VISA and Rupay both together.?

No

There is one more debit card "Indianoil RuPay plat dc" code - IRP
You can get this if u want

If you want to change dc variant in sbi only option is through branch. You can request any card you want from branch. But it depends on branch if they will give the card or not. Old cards will be not closed. You can continue to use them or permanently block them from yono app

Yeah, but earlier they allowed this but when I visited the branch recently they asked me to block the existing physical dc

different branch different rules. My branch never asked anything told me to close after issuing my new card. I have also heard some branches told customer that they have to maintain certain balance to get certain Debit card

Platinum/select - levels in Rupay card network
