SBI Simply Click Card generated within minutes.

I got a huge surprise from SBI Today. I was just sitting there, watching Netflix. Out of nowhere, I got this message :-

Now, just out of curiosity, I went with this link. The card was pre-selected. I tried to change it to Simply Save, as it was available on RuPay, but the same was not available in the list. There was SBI BPCL, but I already use a fuel card from my cousin (add-on), so I didn't want that one.
I went through the process. Surprisingly, all my details were pre-filled. Including the PAN Card. Even, my company name and its exact address were also pre-filled. . I don't know how they got it. Only the photograph was needed to be captured.
Then, they asked me to provide bank account details. I wasn't sure which account I needed to provide, so I provided the same one where my salary was credited. They deposited Re 1 /- , and after that asked me to deposit it back from the same account to SBI (all links were provided), to complete the verification.

Within a few seconds, the approved limit , the annual charges (Rs 499 + GST) were shown. I clicked "Confirm". My card was instantly generated. The card number, CVV, expiry date, all things were shown. There was also a message that an Amazon voucher of Rs 500/- will be sent to me within 30 days.

The only problem that I faced was, even though I have a very good internet connection, the application used to run into error multiple times. But, there was an option to retrieve the application, and it continued where I left.

I only hope SBI quickly brings this card into RuPay.

Have you uploaded any income proof? What's your CIBIL and what limit did you get?

Yes, but not for uploading documents. You could use the Retrieve application option and the application will start from where you left. Also, I dont think this is the correct one. This sbicard.com/.... is for regular application. Full KYC will be done and it will be 20 days for application. I am talking about SBI Sprint

Have you uploaded any income proof? What's your CIBIL and what limit did you get?

No income proof. Not even my office name and address. Only photograph (selfie or upload from computer) and bank account details (dont know which one, but any bank detail is okay). Everything else was pre-filled. CIBIL was 765. Limit -82k

Deposit part is ok but not the return part. However, probably the validation is in place to ensure you actually own this bank account and have access to it for you to initiate any transaction.

This has been recently started by SBI as I heard few more cases like this. This is actually called NTB(new to bank) acquisitions & they generally fetch the score from Cibil & prepare the pre-approve offer purely based on your score. This is the reason probably you will not see any hard enquiry on cibil at the time of application process.

But again I don't understand people are so much excited about SBI when there are so many cards out there who is giving LTF without any conditions.
