SBI SimplyClick converted from VISA to MasterCard automatically

Suddenly today I'm seeing my 5+ year old SimplyClick VISA got converted to MasterCard variant both for primary and add-on card.
It's showing as Active from 30th April.
I've not requested any changes for the same.

Has this happened to anyone else before ?

Where can one check cards variant /type and status online? I just see my last four digits of the card online/sbi card app.Nowhere can i see visa/mastercard(other than on my physical card..Hopefully that didnt change😂 ) Am i missing something?

Where can one check cards variant /type and status online?

If you login to the SBI card website, you will see a picture of your card which shows the variant.
