SBI Unipay - Payable amount field issue

But I am getting the same error for exact amount also
I think some banks and/or SBI Unipay are slowly moving towards exact bill amounts (or amounts between the minimum and total bill amount) and no partial payment. We have to wait for more updates on this. Use other options for immediate relief.

There's a bug on their website, but you can bypass it by making the payment using a computer or laptop instead of a mobile device.

Steps to Work Around the Issue:

  1. Go to the Payment Details page.
  2. Locate the text box where you need to input the amount.
  3. Right-click on the text box and select "Inspect" (this will open the browser's Developer Tools).
  4. In the Developer Tools panel, search for netPayableAmtActual.
  5. You'll notice that the value is initially set to zero (0.00).
  6. Manually change the value to your desired amount in the HTML code as in Screenshot.
  7. Put the amount in the Net Payable Amount Box.
  8. Proceed with the payment as usual.

Once updated, the website should allow you to pay the amount as per your convenience. I've attached screenshots below for reference! 😊

I knew there was a problem in code for input values and it isn't wither reading or clearing it off to 0 but didn't think on inspecting it as BBPS fetched amount is set to maxpayable.

Now there is something clicked in my brain to pay more amount then bill amount for those banks who don't allow.

You entered Hall of Fame today with this workaround till SBI fixes things on its own. 🙂 I just paid my HDFC by editing payable amt from 0.00 to 25000.
