Hi all,

I recently opened YONO account via vKYC and got a VDC ( I also got a physical DC delivered to my address - both are different cards and both are ruPay). I have made 4 transactions so far but I do not see any reward points. I did sign up on rewardz portal as well. I only see 300 points credited for YONO registration and vKYC. Please guide me if I have to do anything else. Also, should I close the physical DC ? Is it chargeable ?

New accounts reward points takes time (weeks) to get credited. So wait patiently. You will get reward points.

New account need time to get mapped with rewards portal wait 2-3 months from debit card activation, patience is a key with sbi so wait is what you can do. After successful mapping rewards get credited in 2 -3 days after transaction. You can close physical dc after 11 months as it is 1st year free dc, next year onwards 99+ gst will be charges for physical dc. No charges for VDC its free for lifetime.

With SBI Virtual RuPay debit card you can pay cc bill via phonepe app, paytm app, freecharge app, billdesk website etc etc there are many ways to earn rewards on vdc. Nothing is excluded except wallet load transactions.

I also open account via VKYC but while registering on YONO it's saying "You already have active sbi internet banking functionality

Please use your internet banking to register yourself for YONO" but i didn't activate NB. In short not able to register YONO ( UPI is working)

visit branch they will solve you issue
