SBI VISTARA mobile number update refusal

new issued SBI Vistara card, not able to change their mobile number via their app "due to internal security policy" as per the message mailed kyc documents to contacntchage@sbicard.com id, even they rejected the request

"We regret to inform you that your contact details could not get updated in our records due to our Internal Policy checks. We regret the inconvenience caused."

there is no explanation for why they are rejecting. is it because of the new card and just recently the first statement generated? or first, need to be changed at the Vistara portal?
