Hi, I have applied for upgrade to wealth account in bangalore today , but they are not providing SBI Wealth RuPay Select debit card but instead Visa signature debit card . I told to apply debit card with SRW code but manager is denying request and saying it is only for TRV of 50 lac.
He told they have same instructions circular internally .

After your account gets upgraded to wealth instead of going to manager go to the person who applies debit cards and give him the code SRW

If there’s still time change branch. I’m pretty sure there are plenty of Wealth branches in BLR. Also, this might pressurize manager to give you Select card.

If manager denies it most likely guy at the branch later would also tow his line.

Lastly, this SBI wealth select card is prolly the most expensive Rupay select card lol you might as well go with other banks with paid card for under 500

So spoke to manager over phone for apply with code SRW, but he denied over call . But these process of applying debit card , doesn't happen at my home branch right ?. They have separate wealth hub branches . So i don't know whom to contact to apply this code SRW.

There is no specific requirement that you should apply only from the dedicated wealth branch you can apply from any sbi branch. You can go to home branch and apply using SRW code.

No having two accounts i.e one normal savings account and one joint account so got two cards.
