SC Ultimate credit card issuance

Do we need to have a SC bank account in order to get this cars, I had a dormant account with them...now they are saying I need to submit kyc to get new card

Yes since u have already pan linked in their system they can’t issue card separately
For fresh application without account also possible but not in ur scenario
