Sealdah (West Bengal) railway lounge access

Hi, my wife has idfc millenia I have coral rupay and we want to visit but what about my 4 year old kid? Do I have to pay for him?

Children above 3 feet will be chargeable according to IRCTC.

In west bengal, only sealdah (SDAH) has railway lounge access. Howrah(HWH) and Kolkata(KOAA) doesn't have this feature.

Occurance
It is available in sealdah main entry gate.
Use lift and go to 1st floor to access lounge.

Cards acceptance
ICICI card which has railway lounge features and IDFC cards, irctc co branded cards are accepted
Ticket is not necessary to avail the lounge.
( I have a local ticket of 5 rs when I have visited ,lol )

Food and ambience
Food is ofcourse hygienic and very tasty.

You have choice of veg or non veg thali.

Buffet system is not available unlike airport lounge

You will get complementary tea or coffe. Tea was of kesar tea
You will get 2 hours complementary to stay there and rest. After this you will be charged 50+ GST per hour .

Ambience is very cool and quite.

Chargeable food is also available. ₹200 for veg or non veg thali.

This lounge accepts almost all cards having railway lounge access. Food quality is good but they don't provide buffet.

That time sabji was made up of paneer

Another time I visited, sabji was of aalu- fulgobi( potato and cauliflower)
It depends on season to season

Yes it is accepted. I visited earlier this month and provided the QR code.
They didn't ask for ticket as long as your QR code is valid they will let you in.
