Section suggestion & TF Community improvement strategies

I think most people got better cards after reading tf. We all should donate little amount to support them may be 500/1000 each.
I am willing to do so. Please think over this

Hi TFCians,

We value your feedback and suggestions regarding our forum section. Please let us know if there are any sections that you think are missing or if you would like us to add a new category or sub-forum. Your input is important to us and we want to make sure that our community meets your needs.

Additionally, we are considering the creation of a special group dedicated to improving TF Community. We are thinking of forming a committee consisting of our moderators and the top 5 active members of TFC. This group will work together to make our community even better.

We would love to hear your thoughts on this idea. Do you think it would be beneficial? Let us know your opinion.

Thank you for being a part of our community.

Best regards,
TF Community Team
i think platform made some update in how search some thing here. previously if we search something we get more details and post related to the search but now after update we hardly get any related information

Off late, so many threads are created in redundant topics. I believe it is mostly by new members. I suggest to give access to create threads only after certain threshold like 25 posts, etc.

To avoid any good and important topics brought by new members, kindly create a ask me here thread which will be visible to mods only. If the topic is new mods create a thread, if redundant topic, point the user to the right thread.

Absolutely right it's the newcomers only, but I have found that even after 30 posts they are still doing the same 😂
Threshold should be minimum 50 or select.

Being into management consulting and product management roles, I must say it crucial for any product owner to seek regular feedback and suggestions from the end users and then work upon it to provide the best user experience. It will surely take you and your product/business to heights in the long run. It also shows you value our viewpoints and contributions therefore it is not just a forum but a family of like minded peeps. Appreciate your and whole TF team’s efforts on this. Few suggestions below:

Can we get some up to date threads regarding:
  • Must cards to take and cards to avoid aka Best and worst cards.
  • Great cards that can be negotiable to LTF and steps to do that.
  • Tips and Tricks for getting premium cards LTF/FYF
  • Cards recommendation based on categories - online/offline. Further bifurcated as:
    1. Top 5 cards for buying electronics
    2. Best 5 cards for purchasing clothes, footwear…
    3. Top 5 cards for restaurant, dining
    4. 5 Best cards for online grocery shopping, retail, etc, etc
( understand this will take a lot of time but slowly and gradually it can be done. As this community was also not built overnight, it took time to reach where it is today )
  • Since we all are like minded finance and credit card enthusiasts, in person meet-ups can be organised. People in small groups can meet based on their location. Like Delhi meet-up, Mumbai meet-up and so on. This will strengthen the community bonding and members can get to know each other rather than just virtually commenting behind random usernames.
  • Can we make a section for people who are Indians but live or moving abroad. So information can be shared about foreign cards and their rewards as well. People can tell their experience and tips there. And our community will be global 😊

@TechnoFino not sure if it’s only me, but I have tried on mobile data as well as wifi - I am noticing slowness in site loading. This has started happening only after the server upgrade activity which took place and was very prominent today - took upto 5 seconds for page loading whereas other sites start up just fine.

"There are many things that hurt, but nothing hurts more than card devaluations." 😝
Well the point being, that card devaluations are inevitable and that leads to people having to read up so seemingly infinite pages of comments to gather information, only to realise it's stale.
Can we have posts/wiki pages for each card and ensure those are kept upto date.
This will help filter out redundant content on the website and also help provide concise and latest information to the readers.

There's also a lot of useful information in some of the comments, is there a way to sort a post by top comments (something reddit does), or maybe tag it with label which can be filtered / searched for.

This is still not resolved for me @TechnoFino. Can you confirm if you are also facing such issues? @Wealth is my birth right! ?
