Hello
On 11 October 24 I had paid credit card bill through mobikwik pocket UPI and the transaction was successful from mobikwik s end and money got debited from wallet but I received a message from they your payment has failed it would be refunded within 5 days . But after 5 days it was not refunded i compliant to both Bank and mobikwik support team. Bank says we had already refunded the money and mobikwik says payment is successful from our end so contact merchant and give written confirmation from merchant that they have not received the money. After that I continuously contacted both on Twitter and finally on November 6 i received a refund for the payment. I have asked for compensation for delayed refund to mobikwik but they denied by saying we don't have such policy. Now my question is should I compliant to RBI ombudsman on this issue? And suggest a message that i should write to RBI so that I get the best resolution.

From my experience, RBIO doesn't do much if the issue has been resolved before complaining to RBIO. For them its like issue has been resolved so let bygones be bygones and they leave the decision of compensation to the defendant. And as expected, why would defendant agree to compensate in this situation.
But all said and done, situations vary from person to person and you should complain to RBIO. You don't need to write an essay to RBIO. Just quote the TnC for refund TAT.
