billion not required...they will only squeeze more juice from 2 cr who pay income tax..moreover, they will run program on mails to search specific keywords...they will not check manually

First of all, this law will go into effect in 2026 and even then, will be challenged in court and likely struck down by the courts. Secondly, even if we assume 2 crore people, each will have like 10 digital accounts, meaning 20 crores. Meaning 2 billion. It is impossible to intercept and monitor such a large number of sources even using keywords. This is just like IT can come to your home and search but it is done to less than 1/1000th of 1% of the people.
Imagine demanding access from Facebook, Instagram, Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, YouTube, Telegram, WhatsApp and so on for 20 crore accounts and then monitoring them! Most of these providers will refuse and challenge in courts and what if the email account is based abroad? I can start using an account from France or Germany. Will they go to a French court to demand and order of access? Nothing much will happen except for a few people they really want to investigate.
