Seeking Guidance on IndusInd Bank Account Opening for HDFC Credit Card Rewards

Hi Members,

I've come across conflicting advice on opening an IndusInd Bank account for optimizing HDFC credit card bill payment rewards. Some suggest starting with Grande, then Pinnacle Credit Card, and downgrading to Exclusive, while others recommend the reverse.

My primary goal is to maximize rewards on HDFC credit card bill payments, with less interest in BMS offers as I already hold an AU Zenith card. Can anyone shed light on whether the Grande/Pioneer cards provide rewards specifically for credit card payments or we must have Exclusive/Select?

How bill payments are done? Third party app or Indusind have some portal like HDFC?

Additionally, I'm open to exploring alternatives. Are there other banks that offer better rewards on HDFC credit card payments?

I appreciate any insights and guidance from the community!

Indusind visa signature gives rewards points on Paytm, and Mastercard variant on mobikwik. But recently some customers are complaining about, they are not getting points on mobikwik.

i had the similar situation
And looking after uncertainty on RPs for Indusind DCs I have opened Maxima Savings account(MAB 20k), it comes with free Visa Platinum DC.
For this DC also the accrual rate is same for EComm Tx except that it has a capping of 2000 points.
Using this DC i have done a bill payment of HDFc using Paytm, will update about reward point credit.

For RBL I guess Signature+ DC is available for all account variants (not sure about new Go online account since it’s new) & charges are Rs5000+GST (comes with welcome voucher)

what would be reward % for transactions > 40k for visa plat dc
