Share and brag your passport stamps.

Good thing about the Australian passport is , it has electronic chip embedded into it so that while doing immigration check in Sydney airport we just need to swipe the Passport at the counter and it scans my photo and allows into country and this was happening for the last 15 years or so… fully automatic immigration check… quite cool .. I think a lot of other countries are also doing it these days…
And here we have bureaucracy for registering for egates.

Suggest some great budget-friendly countries for travelers who are just starting International trips.
Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, etc are great for starting your first international trip. Super cheap flights available from time to time, so keep an eye on AirAsia and scoot website. Last year AirAsia was selling flight ticket for ₹0. Just paid the govt taxes and airport fees. Can discuss in a separate thread if members are interested in budget or backpacking trips.

Pls make a separate thread regarding this. It will be helpful.

More countries are now stopping stamps on immigration. India also has a Fastrack immigration, which I will register for after receiving my renewed passport. Though this accelerates the immigration process, I will no longer be stamped on the passport.
So far I haven't been stamped at Hong Kong SAR, Macau SAR, Singapore, The UK(stamped only on entry) and Ireland(stamped only on entry).
