Should I Activate HDFC Credit Card before Delivery? - Query & Discussion

I applied for hdfc card and it got declined after 2 days , then an agent calls me and ask me to apply using her link. I applied using her link and the card got approved yesterday. Today I got a message saying "FINAL NOTICE: pls active your credit card to avoid closure". The message links redirects me to their official whatsapp chatbot. Should I activate my card?

You can check the card in mycards with last 4 digit of card. And activation before delivery is no harm. You can turn off trasaction ssetting from mycards.

So activate or not is your call

And do not worry. This final notice is just routine message. You have 31 days time to activate card from the date of approval.

You can activate the card within 38 days(31+7 days grace).
If you want you can activate before you receive it. Just dont activate tap & pay.

Yes, you can activate your card.

Why so rush on activate the card.

Wait till you got physical card because it was applied through agent.

Sometimes, HDFC issue different card than you applied.

If it is Life Time Free, get email confirmation from HDFC.
