I Am using Axis Flipkart card since last year.

Statement is generated 12th of every month and renewal fee will be there this time.
Axis has refused to make it ltf or waive off renewal fee for this year.
CL- 48k and they have refused to increase it.

I do most of my shopping from Amazon.
This card is mostly used only in sales.

I applied Axis Flipkart card for my wife in May and got the CL- 4,10,000

So, i was thinking of closing my card as limit is low and i can do all sale shopping from her card.
I don't hold any other Axis cards as of now and with recent devaluations they don't look promising as well.

Is it wise to close this card?
CC has stated to clear outstanding and send them an email for closure.
Kindly advise.

Close it without an iota of doubt after getting some basic ltf Axis card for offers.
BTW, I didn't read you post, read only the headline...Tells you something...

Everyone here suggested card closure. However if you still want to hold it but with a increased limit, then here is the trick.

Apply a new Axis card, if your CH is good then they will offer a higher limit on the new card. After activation, send a mail to match the limits of both the cards.
