Should I close my AU LIT CC and get an ixigo AU CC

Basically I have 2 approaches either close AU LIT and try to get IXIGO AU CC if possible.
Else will upgrade my LIT CC to Zenith+ CC. Since I will be getting renewal fees in AU Reward Points, I can book flight with it and basically net I will pay 900 Rs GST only.

Once au card is closed you cannot apply for au card for lifetime, unless policy changes.

Is it true for all cobranded and core cards?

In some places, it is written one year.

I remember before getting the card, my application was rejected twice, I had to call them and clean my application id from there system, so I can apply again.

Once you close your existing card, they don't issue another card. Basically govindaiah namaha!

Try negotiation on upgrade, they will do ,don't try to close your card you will never get a card from au bank

They are ready to upgrade my card to zenith+ but that costs 5k+gst i.e basically 900 if I use renewal rewards. But ixigo is free. so was thinking for ixigo card

Fight for Ixigo and always mentioned you need for 0 percent forex markup and you have a plan to travel abroad...they will definitely consider you

They clearly said long ago upgrade to ixigo not possible as that is cobranded card, but will any way try that first, if not will ask for ltf/fyf zenith+

It's a trap they always say what they send in email id absolutely nothing , don't close your card , one of my friend close his fd credit from au bank , 1 years ago , when he reapply for c card they can't proceed further when he put his pan number, so stay away from this lie ...and sabse jhootha bank hai ye

Yeah, even I can't trust the customer service people at all. They can anytime say, it was mistake, we can't give you card

Don't apply they won't give credit card to anyone...either you have credit card or not .... their credit card default is very high that's why rejecting application

Yes
In the rejection mail they mentioned "due to internal policy".

On mailing them, citing the RBI guidelines, they mentioned I have more than 7 active cards, hence declined.
