Should I take axis ace credit card?

anisharya16

TF Premier
I am being offered Axis Ace credit card FYF with 500 rs voucher on successfull activation in GPay.

My current card portfolio (All LTFs):
ICICI Coral Visa
ICICI Coral Rupay
HDFC freedom
Axis Myzone
IDFC Select (main card)
Federal Celesta
IndusInd Tiger
Bob Premier rupay

Even after so much devaluation, should I take it? I don't plan to take paid card and it will only be free for the first year.
Also I will go for APay card, if I take that then should I go for Ace? Can I make Ace LTF?

My transactions include: monthly spends of 10k which includes UPI as well.
Need ur suggestions.

You should get the Axis ACE Card because it's FYF, and you get a 500rs voucher upon successful activation on Google Pay.

Additionally, there's a Tap &...
you have only 0.7% max. cards from that list.. enhance with Ace card and stop applying not so useful cards.
What I am thinking is, it's paid card and If I take Apay I will get 1% unlimited CB and it's LTF. So would this be a good option? I usually shop online through Amazon, so 3% can be earned from it. So will this be a good option considering axis ace spends = (Total spends-amzn spends-upi spends) ? Share ur thoughts. 🤔

apprx. how much can you spend in a year (overall including all bills etc.) ?

If approved use this card for all your spends (Everything as main card).
myzone - movies and swiggy
celesta - movies (how you got it?)
switch bob premier to snapdeal - UPI

and carefully store remaining cards in secured shelf, do not use it.
I already have 2 ICICI cards, so high chance of getting approved.
Celesta, I applied from bank website, all federal cards are LTF since last year.
Bob premier- I took for lounge access, actually one of the cards which has no spends criteria for lounge access. And Its rupay so I use it for UPI purpose, but I got very less limit 65k as of now. So i switch between this as ICICI Coral Rupay which has 3.3L limit to maintain 30% credit utilisation.

don't worry about utilization, it will be adjusted overall in multiple months.. focus on return and always pay on-time. If you have use case with premier, in that case use coral rupay but same condition for other cards, back to shelf. But again, you travel one or twice and not sure you'll utilize lounge during that time or what conditions by that time, so keep in mind.

I'll keep this in mind. Also I have a query. In ICICI Coral, I have accumulated around 5.8k points and they don't expire and for UPI i use premier (600points as of now), should I move my upi transactions to coral rupay? Since for rest credit card transactions I will be using APay as main card.

ICICI 2 or 3 years for rewards validity, same for BOB. Check once.

For offline spends, Axis Ace still beats any card with 1.5% unlimited cashback, not points. I still recommend it for anyone looking to have just one or two credit cards. Simplicity has its own advantages.

The Rs 500 combined monthly cashback limit of 5% on utility/recharges via Google Pay and 4% on Swiggy, Zomato and Ola is ideal for monthly spends of up to Rs 12k in those categories.

OP has only 15k spends (including all categories) in that (-movies, -upi and -discount offers) hardly 10k per month..

no bills, so 5% = 0%
rest very limited 4% = apprx. 5k = 2400
1.5% of 5k = 75x12 = 900

net % = 3300 - 590 (due to 1.2L spends) = 2.25%

2.25% only possible if spent 60k per year on 4% categories and on 5k monthly spends.

I live in pg, so no point of bills, only groceries, some shopping, dining. I travel like only once or twice a year and I use card which has discount offers. So 10k-15k max spends.
