Should we switch from HDFC Infinia Metal to ICICI Emeralde Private Metal ?

So what I know is if the investments are done through their platform, and in any Mutual Fund, not just ICICI AMC, it is counted in TRV.
The bank is getting the percentage from the regular MFs.
So if you have Icici MF through some other platform like groww, I highly doubt icici will consider it as TRV.
It’s only issued on MC

One staff told me I won't get the card without bank account.
Sure will do.. I will probably wait till March beginning as bonus is paid out in Feb in my company and I want to go with the heavy payslip 😉
EPM is the real invite only card. Absolutely no fixed criteria whatsoever!
They wont care. Most banks ask for last 3 months.
That's also beefed up but this one is extra stuffed so might as well give them the lalach just 15 more days... I will do what I can then let them do what they want

After the recent devaluation where 12000 max vouchers per month can be purchased using emeralde private metal, is it still a better card than infinia? The reasons I am thinking -
1. 12000 limit should be separate on add on cards as well (not sure on this, but thinking just like infinia has separate limit on add on cards)
2. The other benefit of using 100% reward points on hotel and flight bookings beat infinia which allows only 70% usage.
3. Still, on hotel bookings 36% return on EMP vs, 33% on Infinia. That reward points devaluation is not there, right?

It is marginally better.
EPM has good movie benefits.
Most benefits of infinia are marginally better on EPM.
But epm is far more difficult to get than infinia, and needlessly so.
For me, personally, epm is better than infinia as I would get to keep my ltf dcb card too with epm; which otherwise will have to be upgraded to infinia.

Can anyone (not having ICICI Account) sign up on iShop portal? Because then only add on cards can purchase 12000 amazon vouchers per month? On icicibank.com/ishoplogin page, I see that only valid icici bank account holders can login to iShop portal which means that if my spouse or parent doesn't have icici account, they cannot make use of their EPM add on credit card to purchase 12000 amazon vouchers separately, which is done from Payzapp portal in case of infinia. Is this true?
1. 3.33% in infinia vs 3% on epm
2. Add on cards for more apay gv in infinia
3. Smartbuy has jockey, pharmeasy, myntra, redbus, irctc and some others with 3x/5x/10x which ishop doesnt have
4. MOST important, infinia/dcb points get credited next day to next month max. Ishop is on 90 day cycle which is just trash.
I only have icici ccs. I am able to login on ishop.

Does Infinia allow 10k amazon gv per card ? So if someone has primary + 2 addon card, the individual would be able to buy 30k amazon gv ?
Keep in mind infinia has been at this stable state for much longer... And icici has established it's shoddiness within 2 months of taking users hard earned money and devaluing card significantly
Who is to say they won't devalue further in next 6 months or keep on adding subclauses till the card is only beneficial for them and has no use for the cardholder
IMHO stick to infinia and watch what icici does in next 1 year...if it's still good switch next year
