Slice Savings Account (Wallet Discontinued)

Is the normal Slice Wallet UPI working?
I tried using it at different places but kept getting the error: "Unable to verify QR. Try again."
I also tried adding money to the Slice Wallet twice, but both attempts failed.
Then I tried using CRED UPI — the money was credited to the Slice Wallet, but CRED is still showing the transaction as pending

Currently upi server down of many banks.
So better to use alternative.

Their customer sevice in twitter confirmed its paused.
But I saw many of you are telling that they have got physical debit card.

I have a slice prepaid card & now want to convert to Saving account only if I get physical debit card

There's no benefit of that debit card. Why do you want that overpriced piece of plastic?
 
Its the only Slice debit card i think which provides no surcharges for fuel transaction . Previously BOB one card use to give, But from this month they have stopped saying it was an error. now they only cover 1% maximum per transaction
Bro, grab credit to avail the benefit of fuel surcharge waiver. See, their physical branch is not available accross the nation, even the card is classic Rupay, so I didn't think it's... Anyway it's your choice.

Only thing, I found is their spends limit is good, even being Rupay Classic.

not sure why people are giving irrelevant information, but yes, they have disabled card issuance; team told me they are working on personalizing the card for each user; not sure if it means in context of design or benefits, but that is what they were able to tell me.
they are in no rush to re-enable card issuance at this time, as many people from the target demographic use upi, but it is still an important task (not top priority, but priority nonetheless); credit card issuance is a more higher priority for them right now than debit card, but debit card has much smaller processing timeline for design, validation, issuance, etc.

Card is a basic detail they have rejected my VKYC atleast 5 times till now telling me my documents dont seem genuine while I opened multiple other PSU accounts using VKYC, these Slice executives are directly appointed from RBI or what?

They are low paid executives, and are more or less translators for the system response; psu banks are low tech, and have strong sop in place to handle such issues
Slice is a tech heavy firm, they use it for almost everything; that is why some people will have bad experience
Its just that they have built out their infra in such a way that edge cases create issues; just raise an ombudsman complain man, don't wait for them to fix shit

Documents? It's only one document; PAN, they ask for. Aren't you showing physical & orignal PAN card, is there any discrepancy with respect to Aadhar?

No, they aren't.

Try reaching to customer support/escalation matrix/ social media team, see if they can help you out.
