Solo Microwave and Grill Microwave oven suggestions

I am planning to buy a Grill Solo Microwave oven
Currently was looking at LG(20L) and Samsung(23L)
1) LG 20 L Microwave Oven Grill with Glass Door [MH2044DB] - Price 7990
- 1yr Product warranty and Stainless Steel cavity
- Turntable = 9.64Inch (Will this be enough for 3 ppl)

Whatever brand you may choose, Longest the comprehensive warrenty which include Magnetron, Touch pad etc.
2- Post warrenty AMC can be extended upto how many years.

Replacement cost of this parts are as equal to as buying new.
That's the realisation I got in the previous experience with Microwave.

Almost all gives 1yr Comprensive warranty but IFB gives 1yr comprensive + 3yrs on magnetron
But I am not sure about IFB

IFB, is a good product brand, they have confidence on the product, hence giving 3 yr, rest giving 1

Actually oven is cost matrix based model, now a days. If you are lucky, your product may survive longer. But, as max company assembling chinese maaal only, I have doubt.
Whirlpool have policy not to extend AMC beyond 5 yrs.

Despite having AMC, it was not a easy job to get oven running.

Based on my experience over last 15 years, both for my family and my friends, for Indian cooking habits, 99% of the time, microwave is only used in solo mode. Most people use it only for heating. Even baking happens fine with solo. Rarely people use the grilling mode. Most people pay more for getting the grill/convection version and then end up using as the cheap solo version.
And microwaves by design can only have the grilling rack on top whereas for proper grilling you need grilling rack on both top and bottom. So for specific grilling purpose, it fails to properly do the job. OTG oven or airfryer does much better job that way.
So save the money. Buy a solo microwave and if you are into grilling, buy a airfryer.

Electronics depnds on how it is used and is part luck. The power supply coming from the grid also plays a part. the present one we have at home is a bajaj model about 10 yrs old. Mainly used for heating, multiple times, about 5-10 mins in total a day. During covid the panel developed problem and some of the buttons stopped functioning. The local repair guy said panel would cost about 3-4 K and advised me to use it by pressing the fast access (30 sec) button multiple times. But still doing the job.

Nothing like that. It's likely just a marketing ploy. IFB do not make their own magnetrons. In fact there are only a handful of OEMs worldwide for magnetrons which usually last for years. In India there still are companies offering 5-yr magnetron warranties (e.g. Panasonic). My 2020 Samsung also had 5-yr magnetron warranty, while LG gave just 1-yr. So Samsung also decided to follow suit!

That's because their cheaper models have cavities made of painted mild steel (same as bottom-of-the-line LGs) which are prone to rust.

My GE and Emerson MWOs (both purchased in the US) gave me 25-30 years of trouble-free service for moderate use. Just shows the sorry state of affairs for the MWOs available in the Indian market now!

Never under impression that IFB , makes Magnetron, it's just that more the warranty, less the chances to get it replaced paying again hefty charges.

Some brands (e.g. Panasonic) have a second grill element on the back. Along with convection that should probably do a passable job (still perhaps not better than OTGs with convection). Airfryers are basically just tiny versions of MWOs run in the convection mode.
