Soon, RuPay-DFS Cards will enabled MOTO transaction Internationally:

Enabling Mail order/Telephone Order (MOTO) for RuPay-DFS Cards Internationally:

RuPay Global cards are accepted intemationally and NPCI strives to make RuPay cardholders payment experience convenient and seamless. In the matter, we refer to NPCI circular vide:NPCl/2020-21/RuPaY/033 dated 2nd Sept'2020, wherein the approach for issuers to enable MOTO transactions were provided. RuPay-DFS card holders who make transactions on such merchants who support MOTO transactions, would be able to execute the transactions successfully once issuers
enable them.

We observe that issuers are yet to enable MOTO transactions at their end due to which some transactions are getting declined. This hampers the overall RuPay card international transaction customer experience.

In view of the above, we request all the RuPay-DFS issuers to enable MOTO transactions, not beyond 31st May 2023. Bank may put necessary rules at their end to monitor the transaction performance at their end.

Jab tak na 'RuPay AutoPay' enabled karte hai Domestic and International transaction pe aur 'RuPay EMI Amazon merchant' par. Tab tak yeh 2 kamiya rahega he RuPay me. Hope! Jaldi se yeh bhi karde toh better hoga.

RuPay AutoPay k liye bhi same date 2nd Sept'2020 ko RuPay ne circular jari kiya tha, Jab MOTO transaction k liye bataya tha but bank walo ne ab tak RuPay AutoPay enabled nahi kiya hai.

Acceptance of 190+ countries will take 2-4 decades. I am taking about RuPay's native network.

RuPay-DFS cards and RuPay-JCB cards already accept in 195+ countries.

From last few years, i saw Discover global card network and JCB card expand in more Asian and European countries

But it will take another 5-6 years to enabled card BIN numbers for all POS machines.

For example - many Indians complaint RuPay-JCB cards is not accept in Thailand but another side, Thailand banks locally issue JCB cards and POS machines are also accept JCB cards then why RuPay-JCB cards is not working ? Reason is RuPay-JCB Card BINs are not enabled on Thailand's POS machines.

I like UPI because UPI is so easy to implement for International tranactions via QR codes.
