Hi all,

I just want to know how much credit limit offered for Ultimate card initially when approved?

Got only 1.5L limit even though applied card to card from HDFC with above 7L limit.. Still SC offered this only..

Ah yes, that was the issue looks like. Since HDFC doesn't show your full limit in CIBIL.

Maybe you can use income docs after few months to ask for LE.

I sent those too.. still SC did this.. they asked everything..

Use the card well post 6 months auto LE will happen for many

Yeah but am started thinking how effectively vouchers are going to help me when I spend all in SC only.. also i renew or not it's doubtful..

See the brands whether ok for ur taste if not you’re having time till next 11 months to decide
Another issue with SCB they won’t degrade cards once we get high fee variant even if we ask to a low fee variant they won’t accept it

Yeah I heard that..but someone does degraded to small fee or LTF cards, not sure how, based on the accounts and relationship may be..

For me I got 999 fee card and asked to downgrade for a 499 fuel card they denied and I escalated to their top level and finally got 999 card as ltf subject to my account balance always for 15lac
Not worthy deal but this is SCB

Fees are at 2021 now they introduced almost 3 or 4 new cards in last year not sure about current fee

499 card is now LTF, they offered me this first i told the cashback are way too low for per month not needed, then ultimate is offered, that too i told not needed, somehow got convinced and applied with visa infinite will come, later got to know at final stage it's a mastercard and SC stopped ViSa Infinite in ultimate..

Yes from Feb last week they’re giving MC only
Now they keep their visa infinite credit card exclusive for their priority banking clients with 30l balance.

Which card ? Ultimate is paid - 5000 but you get 6000 worth of reward points

Ah.. One of my office colleague got it as LTF 2 years back I think, hence asked.

No, me and my brother doctors so we took pl from sc thats why basis on that relationship they offered pre approved after 5-6 emi

Wow..is it ? Have not heard of many ppl with ultimate as LTF .

I know right. Didn't get much details as wasn't into CCs that much at that time but I think he had an existing relationship with SC.

SC really sucks for me. I have premium card but still they denied me
