But doing it first time was their mistake and doing it every time is their problem. Why are they allowing it again?
My account debited 590 again. Was debited similarly last year too I guess.
Would fight them this time. Why should I pay for their system errors.
Dodgy bank.
Anyone filed complaint with RBI for same?

yep firstly we need to wait 1 month before filing a complaint with RBI
Although I doubt RBI will help here, I saw the last year's threads. What eventually ends up happening is the SBI team points out to their T&C which specifically mentions that they are allowed to deduct a value equivalent to reward points in case the reward points are not available with SBI, thus RBI ombudsman will close the issue as technically/legally SBI hasn't done anything against their T&C.

I got this same debit in SBI Vistara Card statement. Has anyone been successful in getting a refund via RBI or national consumer forum.

Hi
I got deducted in a similar way.. I've been already facing a bunch of issues with SBI card and this adds fuel to fire... shittiest bank no comparison

Did you get any help anywhere?

Now, I got the same
6k points and 250 deducted
did anyone got any new update?

They might have not credited points in such cases, crediting and debiting is such a dumbest thing ever.

Seriously? I purchased during the Great India sale for almost 1 lakh, i got full 5,000 cb, they are going to deduct it now? Whats wrong with these stupid people!
This is nothing new. It's clearly stated in their recent T&C. I would advise both of you to read through it.

You cannot earn both flat cashback and reward points on the same purchase. That would be a double dip. SBI will revoke the reward points after 3-4 months.

Eating directly from the front is certainly more practical than the awkwardness of trying to eat with your hand reaching behind your neck (just like how SBI's unnecessarily making it complicated)

Haha, agreed. If they were going to deduct it, it's better to deduct firsthand. I don't understand their logic either.
