Statement Generation Change Request

As a part of my effort to reduce the mental effort(I already use CRED. But one day I realised how much I actually depended on CRED. It made me very uneasy) I started to change my statement generation date to 7th of every month for all my cards.
While some of them agreed & took my request others provided me randome dates which were of not much use for me(not anywhere close to 7th).

In effect I was NOT entirely able to choose a date of my choice & I still will need to remember the dates for my cards
IDFC First --> 24th
AUSFB --> 15th
Axis --> 12th

Can anyone tell me why these banks could not/DID NOT take my request?

RBI circular on 21/04/2022 clearly states that issuing bank should take a ONE-TIME request to change the billing cycle as per CUSTOMER'S convinience.

Better to change it to 28th of every month to improve cibil score. Its your choice & convenience
& you can escalate to higher level if request is not honored
