Steps needed for converting to SBI Cashback (LTF) from SBI Simplyclick (LTF) which is up for renewal

Hello TF Community,

My SBI Simplyclick (LTF) is up for renewal - Need to upgrade to SBI Cashback (LTF).
I received a SMS from SBI stating that my SBI Simplyclick card is up for renewal & I have 20 days to respond whether I need the renewed card or not.
But I want to upgrade it to SBI Cashback (LTF) card.
I also see Pre approved SBI Cashback card in my net banking account for applying, but it has Annual fee associated with it.
Can you guys please help me with the process for the same?

When your simply click is ltf why is the term renewal is coming? What is renewal you mean ??

Sbi CB cc is very rarest to get ltf it's 0.00000001%

probably renewal means card reissuance on expiry, and yes very rare to get Cashback as LTF, best bet would be to complete milestone for waiver or call cus care to request waiver

Yes my card expiry is in January'25 & they are asking on the renewed card for the same.

If you have pre approved offer take it. Because cashback is not issued easily now a days. And forget about LTF.

I did nothing special. Just mail them by sbi card app and they reply me as mentioned above

One line email "please make my card to life time free as I am using it regularly" that's it.

I got it done so too... they consider card age and spends on the card.
In my case, card was slightly less than 2 yrs old, and spends were 2 lakh in 1st year, 2+ lakh in second year including foreign onlien spends... They took a request and later processed it as LTF

My card was one year old and spent 2 lakh plus
