Suggest Bank ac with online opening saving ac

I had a VKYC today they said since no branch near my home they cant open account
That's really surprising because for my AU account, they told me that even though there is no branch near your house, there is no concept of home branch in AU and that it doesn't matter as you hardly need to go to branch for anything (although there is a branch very near to my house which the AU bank backend team didn't know about) 😆 I have never gone to the branch. Maybe if I ever need a passbook and they issue one, then I will need to go.

I dont know while they took the address and pincode they said since no branch near your home we cant open an account. We will open a account when a branch opens nearby
 
Btw AU refused to give me a simple passbook when I went to the branch today. I wanted a passbook to apply for Udyog Aadhaar. Told them so. They said since I had opened online account, not eligible for passbook. Oh well, I will show them some other bank's passbook.
 
Planning to go branch and ask them to make it single account so that my pan and adhar gets released from bob

If u go to the branch the punishment will be more..They will ask the 2nd holder to come with you and you both should sign on a multipurpose form that has option to remove joint holder.. Ideally this process should be online as all transactions notifications are sent on primary account holders..dont know if this is only with bob or every where.

Went to another branch they told to provide a letter in writing scan it and send to branch email id requesting them to remove the 2nd holder name with signature of both holders.

Also I am in a metro and 600km away from hometown as well as my bob home branch

No i dont have that..u can draft a letter on a plain white paper and send the scanned copy with both the account holders signatures to the email id of the branch.if they are not doing follow up them..u will have all the details on the bank passbook related to ur branch ..
