Suggestion for No maintenance Indusind Select Savings account

I have legend credit card but not select account. Should I consider to open a select account and linked it with legend credit card as a no maintenance account?
As many customers are facing problem of deduction of charges for non maintenance of select account even after linking it with legend credit card, is it a temporary glitch or a new norm?

I've Select account linked with Legend credit card since two years and no charges so far.
