Suggestion on Which HDFC card to get in current new year LTF offer?

TF Premier
Hi everyone,

As most of you know as of now a few HDFC card are being offered LTF like Swiggy, Tata neu Infinity, Millenia etc.

Although I wanta good card so that later I can try to upgrade it to DCB/Infinia.

I am having FOMO for Swiggy(5% cashback for Amazon/Flipkart and 10% on swiggy) and Tata Neu Infinity(As it’s rupay card so can use it for UPI) but I have seen in the forum that getting a co-branded HDFC card has resulted very bad for a few folks.

Please suggest how should I approach this.

First apply for a lifetime free core card.
Diners Privilege lifetime free
Regalia Gold first year free
Millenia lifetime free
I believe regalia gold is best among the three but the fact that’s FYF is stopping me atm. I do remember having LTF offer for either this or Regalia earlier. Should I wait then?

Know inside as in? I have Imperia bank account and have some balance there. Whom should I approach? RM is of no use.
Any known agent/RM/BM who will process LTF.

Everyone will say we can try but at the end it comes out FYF or paid. But if you have any known in bank he can do it for you. Everyone have access for that but they don't do it as LTF attract less commission for them.

I see let me ask around if any friend has any connections in HDFC.

Diners Privilege is very similar to Regalia Gold except for the network being Diners , so lower acceptance.
It's still a good card to have for a future upgrade
Yes that’s what I thought as well. But lower acceptance may lead to lower spends which will hamper chances of upgrade. One thing though I am seeing DCB pre-approved in xpressway but don’t have spends which can justify the fees.

If you are getting DCB metal, then just take it. The fees is anyway covered with reward points and the higher return rate will make up for GST you pay.
And as for acceptance, within India it's pretty good ( better than amex actually ) especially due to their partnership with Rupay. It's only a problem if you have international travel in Europe where it usually doesn't work
