Suggestions for honeymoon under 50K budget

Hey,
I am looking for suggestions from the community for places I can visit with budget of 50,000 4-5 days. I will be starting my trip from Chennai. I thought I will be able to do Sri Lanka since the flights are costing around 25k (round trip per couple) but I am not sure if 25k I will enough in Sri Lanka for others things. Please help me TFCians,

You can add in few points of luxury also by staying in taj/marriott properties or another property called ayataana(best property in coorg)

If you want to do more in 50k then srilanka would be a great option too

South Goa given the budget, the stay and food is pretty good, get a good Airbnb around palolem, Agonda, Honeymoon is about spending quality time together than sightseeing and South Goa fits perfectly.

Considering the budget, a domestic trip might be better.

If you travel internationally, you might have to stay in cheap hotels, which might not be the best experience for a honeymoon.

Visit Wayanad/Coorg/Pondicherry(extremely close, and you'll save on flights).

If you're planning up North, you can try Goa/Kashmir/Shimla(reach Delhi and then take a train/bus).

Options are plenty, just look for the one you like the most.
Stay in a fancy hotel on budget by checking out for some deals.

And you'll have a much better time! 🙂

There are a lot of good 3 and 4 star (and even some 5 star) hotels available in Colombo for cheap. So you can definitely do a 3 to 5 day trip there. I would also recommend Malaysia and Thailand. You can go to Kuala Lumpur and Langakwi island in Malaysia or Bangkok and Phuket island in Thailand. These can be done for 25k for a 5 day total trip. Also, don't get hung up on a 50k budget. If it goes to 60k, accept it as you normally don't marry too often.

Exactly my Thoughts, its better to have a premium optional in a domestic location than a sub par abroad, especially if its your honeymoon and you will not be much interested in sightseeing as such, its what it is, being practical, been there done that.

I don't know if you have already done this. But the most important thing is to discuss with your spouse/fiancee what the two of you want from the trip. Then plan accordingly. There is no right or wrong: each couple wants different things
Some people would like to just spend time together, some people would like to sightsee (monuments, nature) especially if it is the only chance they will get for the next few years; some people want experiences (adventure/cultural/culinary); some people get a thrill from a few days of luxury; some people don't mind eating street food with a loved one for company; some people just want to escape from the family for a few days; some just want to relax after the hectic wedding festivities. So talk to your SO and work out what the 2 of you want from the trip

Any place has best time to visit & worst time to visit.
For example in Month of May, Rajasthan will be extremely hot but Himachal would be great weather.
First you need to see which dates are you planning to visit.
