This took me by surprise today morning when I tried to order something from Swiggy app. The payment option is showing this new section called Rewards. Currently it is giving me option to redeem my IndusInd Pinnacle credit card points. Not showing any option for other cards I keep.

I think it's good for someone who don't want to dig deep into the reward system and just get some discount out of the orders.

And best of all, no redemption fees applicable! 🥳 Sadly, IndusInd has sent email that starting from 1st April 2025, redemption fees are applicable for redeeming via Twid. So better redeem the rewards before the changes come into effect!

It is a partnership of Swiggy with PayWithRewards (Twid) rewards. You can redeem upto 15% of the order value. Eg. If the order is 500, you can redeem points worth Rs.75. The conversion rate is roughly 0.84 for RP to cash. Discount is applied on the final amount. Remaining amount should be paid using IndusInd credit card while redeeming the points.

Tip: In case this section is not showing for you, try saving the IndusInd credit card details in your Swiggy app. It might solve the issue. Also as per tweet from PayWithRewards, this feature is being rolled out in phases, so if you don’t see it yet, no worries! It’s on its way.

🎉 Hey there, foodies! Looks like Pay with Rewards powered by Twid has caught your attention on Swiggy! 🍔🍕✨
Here’s the magic: When you add your favorite food to the cart, if you’ve got Zillion Points, IndusInd Bank Points, YES Rewardz Points, or some other cool banking points in your pocket, you’ll spot a shiny little strip above your total amount. 🌟
Just tap on that little gem (yep, click it!) and—*BAM*—you’ll see all your points. Pick the ones you want to use, and *watch the discounts roll in* like it’s the best food delivery hack ever. 🥳

Here are a couple of quick things to remember:

* There’s **no redemption or subscription fee** to use this feature (no Rs 99 + GST charge!).
* Twid is a super trusted platform, letting you use points from banks or brands like Flipkart Supercoins and Zillion across popular merchants like Bookmyshow, Jiomart, ConfirmTkt, Ixigo, Myntra, and more.

Quick note: This feature is being rolled out in phases, so if you don’t see it yet, no worries! It’s on its way. Stay tuned for some serious food savings. 📲💥

True. But you do miss out on rewards on the remaining amount

For example, in this case of swiggy. Let's say your order value is 450. You can use a maximum of 120 points for Rs 90 value (if you have 240 points at least). For the remaining 360, you get measly rewards. On the other hand, if you use HDFC Swiggy/HSBC Live+/Airtel Axis card, you get 10% cashback.

What I do is, I send money to my account via Snapay - twidpay and use indus points. After subtracting charges, points value comes to around Rs 0.6/pt
I am mostly using it for recharge and bill payment on jio where there's no other rewards option.

Bro you do have a point, but just think about this. If I made that purchase of Rs.450 fully with any of the Swiggy cards, 10% reward only amounts to Rs.45. But in case of Twid, I am able to get an instant discount of Rs.67.50 off by redeeming RP. For people like me who don't want to play the points game for better redemption value, this seems to be the best way out to burn some RP and get an instant discount.

Off topic question, but how much did you pay as joining fee for the pinnacle card? And which brand did you choose for welcome voucher?
I paid 15k joining fee and choose amazon pay 10k voucher as joining benefit.
Took this upgrade specifically to get IndusInd exclusive account for my parents.

Scenario 1: Taking your example of ₹500 order value, you pay ₹75 with 90 RPs (gain of ₹8 compared to redeeming as cash) and balance ₹425 paid with Pinnacle getting 4.25 RPs worth ₹3.

Scenario 2: Instead of redeeming 90 points in Swiggy, if you redeem it in cash, you get ₹ 67. So you lose ₹8 here. But you pay the ₹500 with any card giving 5% in Swiggy or pay with Amazon Pay balance (loaded with 5% benefits with any card), you are actually paying ₹475 getting a return of ₹25.

So scenario 1 you gain ₹8+₹3= ₹11.
But lose ₹25.

Whew !!!
What a complicated calculation for saving ₹14. Let me take some rest now 😁
