Anyone taken Swiggy One Blck subscription? How has your experience been?

My Swiggy One ended a few days ago - got offer Blck at ₹299 (normal Swiggy One disappeared), no card offering Swiggy One at the moment either

Only interesting thing seems to be expedited delivery/refund - they keep batching all deliveries from resturants for for some unknown reason even if resturant is < 2 km away

Yeah Swiggy is weird in this. Everytime the order takes long time to deliver because someone's else order is getting delivered first.

Look around for some bank coupons or buy them from RML section, you should get a good deal.

Turns out they also offer renewal for normal One

It is hidden under one of the expandable panels, got 4 months for ₹1

This is new chut*****pa they started....yesterday, my order delayed and i clicked to cancel the order due to delay...they offered me 350 Rs coupon or full refund...i took coupon

Got a chance to try a few orders using my relative's phone - delivery experience has improved quite a bit with Blck

Experience with normal One:

• Order placed
• Some random delivery person few km away assigned
• Resturant finishes preparing order (~ 10 mins)
• Delivery person is still a few KM away and takes 10 mins to reach (or receives order and takes a quick 10 min power nap)
• Deliver person finally starts journey and delivers order
• Sometimes takes a 15-20 min detour to deliver another order

Overall time: 30-40 mins from payment

Experience with Blck:

• Delivery person reached the resturant immediately after payment (like in a minute, across different days/resturants)
• Resturant prepares order (~ 10 mins)
• Delivery person immediately grabs order and delivers it without the normal detours

Overall time: 15-20 mins

Granted, all of the resturants I tried had this new "Express delivery" option, and orders were just at start of peak time - but there is a massive improvement over the ~35 mins delivery time I normally used to get via One (same time/resturants)

Kind of sad that this is extra paid (should be default One delivery experience), and there will probably be a degradation on a few months, but seems to be worthwhile at the moment

I've almost always had that delivery experience too with swiggy one, there has been exceptions but rare where I faced some delays but never seen a detour

Could be - I've mostly never received a order in < 30 minutes in ~ last year both from Swiggy and Zomato, even though the resturants I order from are all < 2km away

Quite refreshing to get in < 20 mins - this was how it used to be several years ago when Zomato started Gold
