Recently I was on my way to Udaipur from Bengaluru and got direct flight scheduled from Bengaluru. I have travelled from Nellore to Bengaluru (By road in my new Harrier). As my flight is scheduled early in the morning I chose Taj Bangalore (Taj Bengaluru Airport Hotel).

I have booked the hotel on the member rate (Club Member Rate) includes Taj Club Lounge access, But I have completely forgot the booking. On check in they have not mentioned anything about Club member booking. They have allotted me the room in the 5th floor with this awesome view of Airport on one side and the landing runway on the other side. This is the first Airport Hotel stay and I was like wow. My kid was thrilled to see almost all Airlines (Indigo, Air India, Thai, Singapore Airlines & many more) taking landing.
Distance From Airport:
As you can see this is an Airport Hotel, you can walk from Hotel lobby to Airport to gates. As we have our car we went to the departure gates in our car itself. You can even request the hotel to drop you, they have options.

On reaching the floor I have observed a indicator that Taj Club Lounge was there on the floor and remembered that I made a booking of that category. Later on went to the Club lounge and it was very spacious and the view is also great.
Taj Club Lounge:
- You get free access to Taj Club lounge which operate from 11am to 1pm, 3pm-6pm, 6.30pm to 8.30pm (Happy Hours). Menu is also decent.
- 2 Veg Starters + 2 Non Veg Starters with Drinks are available for Dinner session
- Other slots they provide some snacks
You get a good view of Runway from here. The lounge can accommodate around 25-30pax. The lounge staff are very courteous and friendly.
As mentioned earlier the booking was done on Full Board Dining (B+L+D) included, we have been dining at Cafe 77 East. Food was decent and choice of items were also good.
Room View:
To have the runway view take the even room number in 5th floor (Not sure of other floors). 5th Floor members will have access to Taj Club Lounge.

Final Verdict:
We have chosen this property just to have convenience of reaching Airport on time and to have some leisure time to explore the property as we have journey followed up. Overall a good experience to have a good runway view from the room. (Kids would enjoy the stay more than you). Yes it was good experience staying at Taj Bangalore (Taj Bengaluru Airport Hotel).
