Talkcharge Fraud, asking customer to repay cashback or they will send legal notice as per RBI guidelines

Many of us have heard of a app few months back namely talkcharge. It is a app where you can load wallet and keep theoney in few months it would give x2 or x3 .... cashback.
I was also one of them . I loaded it in around 25k but used all my amount in doing electricity or mobile recharge before this news. For keeping the money for some time. I also got cashback as now a days cashkero gives. When u redirect to Flipkart or Amazon before shopping on them.
But today I got this message that I would have to give all the cashback by recharging my wallet back to the amount how much cashback I have received till date. So I would like to your views on it. Never faced this kind of situation before. Kindly guide me.
I am ready to give the received cashback which is around rs. 3045 & rs 800.
@TechnoFino kindly guide us. Because I have not found any post on our forum about this.

They are saying that I have got more payment than I have loaded.

But is was cashback which I got for keeping the money for time.

But now they are saying to re load my wallet as it is showing in negative

If you reply, that will imply you have received the notice. Ignore it for the time being, let the story unfold.

Gajab yaar, kya company hai it's their problem they should deal it itself.

It's not fair you cannot take the cashback. If they send you legal notice then you can challenge them in the consumer court and ask for the compensation aswell.

You didn't take any kind of loan from that company right? Then how can they ask you to pay the cashback amount.

If RBI has put restrictions on this fraud company then they are responsible for it.

Imagine If Paytm starts asking their users to pay the cashback amount as they have been banned by RBI. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Be ready to fight legally 😏 & fuc* them in court.

Isn't it obvious that 99% of the people receiving this are not going to pay?
It's not like they committed a crime by earning cashbacks.
What will happen if people don't pay? Will the company sue all their users?
Given the current circumstances, I highly doubt that the company has money to even pay rent for their offices let alone hire a lawyer for this.

I don't think you have any liability to refund. Users should have spent the money by now. Very strange, how can they expect users to have the cashback present which was given in the past.

I believe you don't need to worry.

They are vaguely actually requesting you to pay back, not even mentioning amount due.
Let them send demand letter which they can not because you don't owe them any amount.

Also legal notice is not a general notice that they are sending to everyone. To be legally abidable it needs to be in the name of individual.

Quick question - Do they have your aadhar or PAN? and when did you receive the cashback amount?
