The reason why I am confused is many folks who did tap and pay are being shown ineligible. Probably will have to take a chance and divert some spending on Visa card to test

I will spend with my cards via tap and pay and update here after 16/17 dys

Bhai unhone bola ki hai, fir machine started flashing "Insert or swipe the card". Fir mujhe kehta aapke card mei dikkat hai. I was like, dude I checked my card settings before coming to you and it's not the first time I am using Tap and Pay

Tap and pay works on near-field communication (NFC) technology, so it's clear from the full form only, when your device (NFC enabled Smartphones or Wearables like smartwatches, stickers, rings and others)/card is near to POS machine, then only txn is possible.

Conclusion: Tap & Pay works only in offline mode but not in online.
