Tata Neu app stopped working

To all the Android users who were perfectly fine using the Tata Neu app, since March 14, the app stopped working with "Environment Not secure" error. I tried escalating this via grievance, but its of no use. From the play store reviews I could see a major portion of devices may be affected ? Are you one among ? If so can we do something about this ?

Yes the phone's bootloader is unlocked, but the app was working fine earlier, I passed the play integrity check, but device is not rooted

Same behavior here. Bootloader not unlocked, not rooted not anything.

I think what was being checked was whether "developer mode" was on or not. I am noticing a lot of banking apps these days warn that they don't like it if developer mode is on

Anyway, I just got a Tata Neu app update and the app seems fine now?

Looks like there was no update, so I am wrong above. I don't know what happened and not able to explain why the app suddenly started working again in the same device it was not earlier.

Mine is also unlocked.

Not using Tata neu, Payzapp, etc from past 2 years.

How'd you get a app update ? The last updated date on the play store is 14th of Februvary

huh. Interesting. You are right, I could have sworn I saw Tata Neu as one of the apps.

Also, it's working now, on the same device it was not working earlier. I updated the thread. Sorry, guess I was misleading.

There is workaround. And you can use any banking app without any trouble. Just root using KSU/KSUN and use susfs. If you need more help please dm.
Using Tata neu works perfectly fine on unlocked bootloader,custom rom and rooted.

All my other banking apps work absolutely fine, the most notorious one being ICICI which also works fine

Play Integrity and Safety Net are truly cancers.
