Tata Neu punishing loyalists ( My personal Experience)

I have been using Tata neu since the launch date of April 7th 2022 and have been loyal to them by using all their apps for my grocery n medicene n travel n electronics . I have earned the Tata neu coins for all my purchases and continued using the buggy Tata neu app hoping that it will improve but that never happened till date ( 3 yrs to fix a app that sounds crazy) . I also took the Tata Neu infiinty card to maximise my earnings of Neu coins. All was good until 2.0 started 🙁

With introduction of Tier sytem in 2025 for Tata Neu 2.0 they have started flagging accounts and removing the earned coins for all old purchases without any notice. I was loyal to Tata neu and couldnt believe this as the same was discussed in multiple forums. This flagging is only informed after we raise a reqeust to customer care. The same thing happened to me also a few weeks back and after checking the same with customer care and escalations team received the same response.

Flagging the account for purchasing a phone based on loyalty sounds rewarding for the trust built.

Hope many other are facing the same issue just a reminder all of us are in same boat . To the many ppl who reached out to check the truth in this before this happened to me . Sorry for making you believe that this will not happen and keep hope. I have escalated this to topmost level but the response remains the same. I beleive Tata neu has designed itself to self destruct.

Normally they flag the transactions which is done not for personal use, the phone which you have ordered must be an iPhone.
If you have any transaction/order done for commercial use they will flag it.
Still if you can tell what you have ordered it will help others in future.

Ordering one iPhone is a business transaction lol? If people here weren't capable of buying it for personal use how come apple is selling these here at the first place?

You still didn't mention what you have ordered ?
Many people use tataneu croma to get high reward on iPhone order and further resell it, that's why they start flagging these transactions seeing your past order/transactions whether it was for personal use or not.

I have ordered smart watches and some appliances from it. Also apple airpods. S23 from it too. Never got any flagging
 
In sep month it happened with me.

They deduct 100 neu coin from my balance by giving reason of 1mg order cancellation. For the order they deducted coin was successfully delivered and not return or refund request raise. They directly deducted coin.

I raise concern on chat as well as mail. After that they acknowledge that "Samething was happened with multiple customer due to system glitch and over coin will be credited back in few days."

I finally got those coin back after a month in NOV. They taken more then 40 days to return.
 
Not worth the follow-up headaches.

If they release a faulty app and expect ONLY user feedback to fix their issues, and then take so long fix the few issues they chose, obviously, then it's not worth the time.

Same thing happened with me last month deducted around 800 neucoins but credited after 1 week or 10 days after raising the complaint and followup.
