Hi, I am planning to upgrade my scope - currently use a 5 inch Newtonian Reflector.
Had placed my order for Celestron 8se (got a good deal at 1.3 L incl gst plus the AC and DC adaptors). However, I am thinking to directly move to Celestron 9.25 evo - which if purchased in India should be about 3.2 L. I see a steep price difference and I am not keen to get into the hassle of bringing it on my next travel due to logistics - will be a huge carry!
Pl recommend if 8se should be it or should I think of anything else.
Purpose: No photography - just need a GOTO scope with quick setup for Gurgaon polluted skies and easy carry for a short trips!
