Issue Resolved The best time to book Accor rooms

The highlighted issue has been resolved by the bank/financial institution.
The best time to book Accor rooms New

drsel

TF Prestige
just for general information--
For Accor hotels, booking room nights last minute during the first 14 days prior to check in are expensive (regular prices or more than regular prices).

But around 30 days prior to check-in you will get the lowest rates. (Upto 30% cheaper than regular prices).
Unless it is peak season like Christmas, New year, etc

More than 30 days prior to check in, the rates will be the regular prices.
Everyone kindly give your inputs on this debatable topic

It also depends on the place u r going, if there is any exhibition or any important event in the area then the price of the room is almost doubled. But yes in geenrally the price is less when booked at least 30 to 45 days in advance . There is no fixed date we can know for the lowest rate.

Also Accor app is dynamic and the price of the room would be different for you and me for the same date n place. Always check the prices n multiple sites n then take a call

I don't think the price is different for every member
It's just that some members get the price without taxes and fees and others get it including taxes and fees.
The total anyway works out the same

I booked New Zealand rooms 6 months in advance & got dirt cheap prices, Now even 2 months in advance, it is already 60-70% price more atleast. So this rule might not be universal, depends on destination.
But is it advisable to book non refundable without having a visa?
Or Is it better to get the visa and then book non refundable?

The rates which I booked are fully refundable if cancelled before 7 days. For NewZealand, the app did not gave me any option for purely non-refundable rates.

I think non refundable option comes in around ~2-3 months advance bookings. Don't think it will be there for 6 months advance bookings

On this related note, I am seeing this offer
Just FYI

That is very surprising because not refundable rates are much cheaper
I think it have got to do with hotels brands, Some hotels never offer non-refundable rates. I can see non-refundable rates for other brands like Novotel, sofitlel,MGallery. But not for breakfree, Mantra etc.

I am facing this dilemma of booking accor hotels in dubai in February that too after valentines 😞
Dirt cheap rates of ibis available in the price of 4k per night(very well advance booking of 6 months or more) is offered at 11k per night.
There are novotel and movenpick available at acceptable rate at around 8k per night but those are farther from metro lines.
What should I be booking? Should I book or hold on for rates going down on dates getting closer? I haven't done anything about the visa yet.

Feb is a relatively peak season in Dubai, and it tapers off after April as heat increases. Rates are going to higher in Feb. 11k per night sounds about right

Still you can book refundable rate and keep checking, if they go down, you can rebook and cancel original booking

check march rates even at the starting, they are much cheaper.
Also everyone I see rates lesser on goibibo than on accor,do they match it if we ask them to?How to ask for it too?

Accor plus members get 50% discount on food if two adults are dining for breakfast lunch dinner but for any drinks you will get only 15% discount.

Extra amount due on the rooms can settled with points as the time of check out along with your food and drinks bill.

Eg. Room cost including all taxes and fees comes to 37000 for x number of nights and 20000 points will cover 36000
the balance 1000 due can be added to your food (50% discount ) and drinks (15% discount) bills and paid entirely with points

Another trick is to book each room night separately, one night per booking, to get welcome alcoholic drink everyday..
You get alcoholic drinks, cocktails, everything as complimentary welcome drink.

If you are staying for 4 nights, make four separate bookings of 1 night each.
Has anyone tried doing this and received the free alcoholic drink everyday?

Rates are cheaper by 30-40% during Ramadan. Ramadan in 2025 is from 28 February till 30th March. So, those dates would be much cheaper. Almost all of the attractions are open, except outdoor restaurants are closed during the day (it is not allowed to drink or eat in public during Ramadan).

I visited Dubai in 2024 in March end during Ramadan, the prices were cheaper, and the weather was great. Did not face any problem because of Ramadan.
