The Tech Stack That Changed Everything for Us in 2025

1/ We started 2025 with a bloated tech stack and burned-out devs. Fast forward to April:

  • 30% faster deployment
  • 40% cost reduction
  • 10x happier team

Here’s how we cleaned up the mess:

2/ Frontend:

Moved from React + tons of dependencies → SolidJS

Why? Faster load, cleaner state handling, and fewer bugs in prod.

3/ Backend:

Node.js → Bun

Speed, security, and native TypeScript support—Bun is a game-changer.

4/ Infrastructure:

Self-hosted on AWS EC2 → Switched to Vercel & Railway

Shipping became almost too easy. CI/CD with zero config.

5/ Database:

Goodbye MongoDB, hello PostgreSQL

Structured data, better relational logic, and perfect for analytics.

6/ Auth:

Used to build our own… big mistake.

Now: Clerk.dev — plug & play, secure, scalable.

7/ Why it worked:

  • Cut tools that didn’t talk to each other
  • Focused on DX (Developer Experience)
  • Prioritized speed + security over “cool factor”

8/ Every quarter, we now do a “Tech Stack Audit”

  • What’s slowing us down?
  • What can be automated?
  • What are we reinventing unnecessarily?

9/ Your tech stack isn’t just code—it’s your team’s quality of life.

Choose wisely.

10/ Curious to hear:

What tool or framework was a total game-changer for you this year?

Let’s share and learn. Drop yours below.

Hi moderators, this is most likely an ad from Clerk. They are aggresively into marketing everywhere these days. About almost everything is BS in this post.

OP (most likely a bot) joined on Tuesday and this is the first thing he did. Also notice the formatting.
