Hi all .. today i recieved 2 transaction declined msg ( ss attached ) for my citi bank credit card , i did not do these transactions , can somebody tell these txn were done at ? Luckily i had i my international txns off .

I have shared my card number ( only card number no cvv or expiry date ) with one person , can he do this txns without CVV and expiry month ?

The card is 2-3 day old and i didn't used it anywhere .. i m yet to do my 1st txn ..

Even for international transactions, Expiry Date and CVV is required. No transaction can happen without these details.

From what I can understand, someone tried to add this card to Google Payment and the transaction failed. However, In India, even adding the card to google payments requires OTP.

Block and replace your card immediately

CVV is required

Yes a lot of merchants can process transactions with just the card number and card number and expiry without CVV.
