Transaction Failed Due to Risk Rule Violation - HDFC Rupay Card

Hi,

My payment on some sites are failing with error message saying "Transaction Failed due to risk Rule Violation" for my Rupay HDFC Card. I see someone faced similar issue and there is no resolution in any of the threads. If anyone faced similar issue and fixed it, please let me know how to overcome

What is the value of the transaction(and what percentage of your limit) and what is the site that you're using at?

Failing even in case of 10 rupees. I have a limit of 6 Lakhs. the site i am using is redirecing to payu.in

Not thru UPI apps. Its thru credit card payment

Not sure. I got my regalia rupay upgraded to DCB

Check your transaction limits in netbanking, app or mycard. I had received such a message when my domestic transaction limit was lower than amount of transaction.

Check if domestic transactions are switched on.

Seems some issue on bank side, I bought something at grocery shopping and paid using qr code though tata neu app, tnx went through first time for 200, bought Some more for 50 rupees and 2nd txn failed with same error as above even after multiple tries

Same happened with me today, tried 10K and it was failed, tried 1K and it was failed again

Also got transaction monitoring robo calls for both transactions, don't know if that's the reason.
