Trick revealed: Earn full 10k ER per month from Grabdeals at zero spends!

RewardsAlert

TF Legend
Dear group members,

I have recently come across a workaround shared by a person on Twitter revealing a loophole for earning 10k ER per month on Axis Grabdeals using the merchant - Marks and Spencer

Steps involved:
1. Shop Regularly from M&S using Grabdeals.
2. Visit your M&S store in nearby locality and return the entire order.
3. Get the refund.

Note: There is a bit of confusion as in of the refund provided by M&S store is in form of Credit Note or direct refund to original source or cash.

]

Credit note, I think.

Even I have gone to M&S store and returned the products directly.

They had given Credit Note at that point of time.
But the question is, can they give refund as Cash or direct credit to card account?

By default they would give credit note/voucher. You may try convincing to refund as cash or original source.

How M&S couldn't validate the order is returned via offline? Anywhere they maintain a system right.

dont chase, this is the same loophole (re-issue of reserve card and 50K points as welcome benfit every time) eventually they will audit it and will be taken back in next couple of months.

No, this is a bug in Marks and Spencer internal order management systems.

There is no involvement of Axis in this mechanism as:

M&S operates in two ways if you notice carefully:

1. They accept orders via their official website.
2. They have physical stores for purchasing products.

Now the return mechanism is as follows which has a loophole:

1. Online orders can be exchanged for any product available in offline store.
2. Online orders can be returned for a credit note in offline store.

Whether you return/exchange your online order in offline store, their online inventory doesn't gets affected and this is the reason they consider that order as delivered even if it got exchanged or returned.

So, Axis is giving points even after returning the product for credit note/refund.
There is no way Axis can reverse the points, as it is M&S who is at fault and will not report to Axis due to their standard operation policies.

This trick might not work! 👎

I called one of the Marks and Spencer store in my area and checked with them that how they can refund if I return something bought from their online website.

They have confirmed that as per the RBI rules the refund cannot be made in cash it will either be in the form of a credit note valid for 1 year or in the same mode of payment used that will take 20 working days to credit back the amount to the card used for payment.

Only the purchases made in cash at store can be refunded in cash.

So, Axis is giving points even after returning the product for credit note/refund.
There is no way Axis can reverse the points, as it is M&S who is at fault and will not report to Axis due to their standard operation policies.

Does that mean getting full points even if refunds are made to the Axis card by M&S?

I was wondering, if we returned the product in store; and choose the option to get return in the same mode of payment as that was used...

And going by what @RewardsAlert said, would we still get the points...? Because as the product is returned in offline store, their online inventory won't change..... and I don't think Axis will know that the product was returned offline... ( worth a try ig)

Otherwise, you will be stuck with a Credit Note from Mark and Spencers... which you will have to spend at the end...

@talkwithfino is absolutely right in conveying the point.

I actually wanted to try out the way to get refund in original payment mode which is card irrespective of credit note.

Because in this way, their online website will still show purchase and we'll be getting the refund.

But it's purely a thought as of now

Someone needs to test it out and share the conclusions before making judgements

Bro even if you take a credit note then you will buy from them only now.

So you spend is eventually going to be there. Online khardike, wapas offline karke fir khardina to padega hi
But that would ultimately finish the essence of this post.
Even I have theories to test out, owing to which I have mentioned in the title '0 spends'.

This is not a misleading title or something but an experiment which if works out then nothing wrong in pursuing it.

Even the 5p loophole involves something on same grounds, which I am about to find out in near future.

Refund will be issued as cash only if you have paid through cash. Otherwise, it is direct to the source(card) or credit note. But we can try telling them that the card has been misplaced or cancelled and see if they offer a refund in cash.

Does that mean getting full points even if refunds are made to the Axis card by M&S?
Yes that's what I am trying to say.

Axis has this loophole.
You saw Swiggy trick of IMPS refund.
On similar mechanism if M&S issues IMPS refund if refund is processed by physical store then it's entirely possible.
Website refund is always automatic and direct card refund.

Even if refund is direct to card without involving IMPS then too I am sure we can get ER.
Because Axis gets the report from M&S online portal if order is delivered or not.
If M&S site does not show refund as we availed it from offline store, then we are getting the points for sure.

This sounds too complicated but, I have dug deeper in this, as once it happened that I did not receive M&S points and had mailed them with invoice details, that was the time I understood how grabdeals works in real.

Swiggy doesn't always give IMPS refund, when I tried the thing I got a normal refund and not IMPS refund.
