I don't have account with Yes Bank. Previously I had only the Yes First Exclusive (Reserv) Card on MasterCard network, which I closed in order to apply for Marquee Credit Card. I had tried to upgrade 3-4 times through emailing the Yes Bank grievance redressal, but they had refused each time, saying that MasterCard is not upgradable to Visa (since Marquee is only issued on Visa network). So I closed my Reserv card, which I was anyway not using much. The Yes Bank credit card application page thereafter opened for new application only after 2 months. I have now applied for the Marquee card, though I am yet to receive it. Let's see what happens.
Do you have Yes Grandeur acc? Or you're directly applying for Yes Marquee after closing your previous card.

Also, do we have to wait for 2 months before applying.

Any update on the Application process, did you receive the card.

They may issue the same but out of the same existing Credit Limit
No they don't. Just called customer care and asked. Only 1 visa / master per customer, and if you cancel your existing card (in case of no upgrade offer), then you need to wait 6 months to apply for a new card

Alternative - send email to yestouchcc@yesbank.in and ask for an upgrade of existing card. They should take 2 days to reply

If you cancel the existing card, then although you receive an email that says you can only apply again after 6 months, you can apply in the online application website in 3 months itself.

Did you get the card?
I am planning on closing my existing yes credit card and applying for reserv/marquee after 3 months. Should I do it? I dont want to get into a situatuon where existing card is also closed and new card is also not being issued cos I had a yes bank card in the past.

which card do you have of yes bank ?

I finally got the Yes Marquee Credit Card 7 months later, in December 2024, after I had closed my earlier First Exclusive/Reserv card in April 2024. Although I had applied for the Marquee Credit Card as soon as closing the First Exclusive card in April itself, the application status was showing "in process" for such a long period of 7 months that I had lost all hope of ever getting the Yes Marquee card. This had continued despite many emails to the Yes Bank credit customer care and despite them assuring me that it will get processed soon. Until one day in late November when I received a sudden phone call from the Yes Bank credit card department that they were going to process my application. The next day, the video KYC was done and the credit card approved the day after, and I got the credit card about 5 days later in early December.
