Unable to clear outstanding from any platform for my sbi simplyclick cc

Hi all,

As title says I am unable to clear outstanding on my sbi simplyclick credit card, I am unsure if just like hdfc, sbi also do not allows to clear outstanding from sbi unipay/airtel thanks etc. I do had rekyc renewal pending but I always able to clear dues after bill generation with sbi unipay but for outstanding I am getting "unable to process" error. To be sure I have tried doing from cred with 10rs with UPI which went successful but after few hours it got reversed. I thought it maybe happening as re-kyc was pending so I submitted docs few days back & today only it become successful kyc but stilll I am facing same problem, I am having 3L limit & I recently did 1.02L insurance transaction which I wanted to clear with sbi unipay/airtel thanks to pay with my platinum dc.

Does anyone encountered such issues? What could be issue? It looks like it is just me if yes can anyone suggest with any email to report & resolve this issue. I started feeling it is started after 1.02L transaction I did. How to confirm if my cc is blocked? I am able to access SBI card very well. SBI level 1 executives are dumb so do not wanted to waste time.

Faced similar issue. Though kyc completed today but sbi sytem takes upto 7 days in backend to apply that kyc to all their diffrent systems.

Only option works in this case is making payment through SBI Card app only. After 5-7 working days you will be able to make payments from any app including sbi unipay

If you are not able to access app. Try web. And that too not working then you can pay using upi

Thanks for your reply, Are you referring that you were facing issue because of re-kyc? But In my case re-kyc was pending since long but I was always able to clear dues. Only difference was this time I wanted to clear outstanding. But getting error "unable to proceed".

As stated I did transaction using sbi card app, my 1st attempt with sbi NetBanking failed. 2nd attempt with UPI with Amazon worked & credited to card. After that I retried to check if it's fetching on sbi unipay but i am still getting same error.

Thanks for UPI trick I will use this as last option if I never able to make using sbi unipay etc.

For now go with upi only
and write on x.com. sbi's twitter team is at higher level equivalent to escalation Desk. They will acknowledge within minutes. Then explain everything to them in DM. You can send screenshot or screenrecording as well..

Pay from sbi card com thru sbi virtual dc (if available) and get 0.5% RPs.
 
They will acknowledge what? They will simply reply saying pay from Sbi card app or website or do NEFT/UPI
You can reply on top of that mentioning your preffered payment method and its not working for you. They do take note of that.
It happened for me. It took time to get resolved. Around month but its done..

On UPI you can pay as much as you want. It's loophole. Atleast for some banks as UPI payments are not going through bill Desk for some banks.

The limit of paying till outstanding is only through bill Desk.

Thats why each bank allows custom Amount payment though outstanding is cleared through their own apps.

Bro pls clear, are you saying "You are able to pay from outside before bill generation"

If not, the OP is asking same and I guess after recent BBPS induction, it's not possible (atleast for SBI card)

Its possible. My hdfc bill was 2L. Till now I paid 3.7L back in hdfc using hdfc mobile app and UPI method.

That UPI method does not work in case of idfc but their mobile app work. Outstadnig was ~10k. Paid arount 50k

Only catch is you have to have their bank account to use their app for cc payment. For upi it works with any bank acount. But it diffrent bank to bank. Some bank allows it. So check that with bank.

Exception is amex as it's not yet on bill Desk

Thats why i mentioned The restriction is only through bill Desk payment. Whatever payment methods are not using bill Desk allows payment more than outstanding

I already did this. They were not even responding. Today they mentioned they forwarded to concerned team but I doubt it will solve & in DM bots are replying.

Now after reading all replies it looks like we cannot clear outstanding of sbi cc before bill generation with sbi unipay & 3rd party apps & I was not aware of this. I thought only hdfc do not allow this.

But still if we compare with hdfc it says "no bill due" after fetch which is not an error whereas for sbi I am getting specific error on fetch "something went wrong, please try again", & even I tried to pay with cred 10rs two times it reversed back amount after successful , also tried airtel thanks but again some error so it looks like something happened with card or blocked on these portals. Maybe because of this I will not at all able to use even after bill generation.

Can you & @Shubham330 try what message it displays on outstanding on unipay?

If forwarded. It will be solved. Didn't you got call from any social media Team executive?
No so far, got calls from PNO & nodal who don't know anything, infact after call disconnection they never added those points on mail which we discussed, nodal literally tried to sell me product "flexipay" than discussing issue..Escalated to Head now. Let see.
