Got a sudden CIBIL enquiry by Bajaj auto finance today for a consumer loan I never applied for. Never had a banking history with Bajaj Finance, never used any 'Pay-later' schemes, never even registered for Bajaj services. How to get this enquiry removed??

Was trynna keep my enquiries low to apply for Swiggy LTF on December, now it's botched 🥲

Raise dispute with cibil as well Bajaj.

For steps: Use search feature on forum.
Thanks for your help man.

But the issue is, for me to raise dispute with CIBIL, I need those enquiries to show up on my 'Enquiries' tab on Cibil app. It's not present there, it's only shown on the alerts tab.

The number of my hard Enquiries somehow hasn't changed even after these two fraudulent ones, it still remains at 17. As per SSV, he recommended keeping a tab on these enquiries for next 1-2 months. Currently I have just sent Bajaj an email asking them to remove these enquiries.

Also, can you help me figure out, if it's wise to share the 10 digit control number of my Cibil profile with them? Or else how should I proceed with making them identify my profile?

U have to share cibil control number to get ur report rectified.

Also, u can't see latest enquiries bcs u hadn't subscribed for CIBIL. Seeing all this, I would recommend getting one. After that u can raise dispute on cibil portal itself.

There's always some 50% discount running for yearly membership. U can get for 600-700

Thanks for the info regarding control number, so it's not a super secret 10 digit number right!? I can share it then.

Also, I do have a CIBIL subscription, bought on 15th August using that 50% code, refreshed today as well couldn't see that enquiry in my 'Enquiries'tab
